You're using Provisor because you're working or volunteering at an event, and the coordinator asked you to. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and how long we keep it — in plain language.
Provisor collects as little data about you as possible while you use it. On a live event, that's just what's needed to put you on the map and keep your team coordinated:
This data is used by us and by the event organizer for one purpose: to run the event you're taking part in. We don't use it for anything else.
We don't share your data with third parties. It stays between you, your team, and the event organizer.
We don't sell your data, and we don't hand it to advertisers or data brokers. Ever.
We hold onto this data for a little while after the event ends — up to a maximum of 30 days. During that window we may use it to analyze or audit what happened during the event, then it's deleted.
The one exception: if there's a law-enforcement investigation, we may have to keep some parts of the data longer than 30 days.
We also collect anonymous information about how the app is used — how many buttons get clicked, which features get used, and any crashes that happen along the way. We use Sentry to collect this, and it's stored on their servers.
We use it to improve the app, fix bugs, and make Provisor more user-friendly — not to identify you.
